It's Raining Cats and Dogs 1 Year, 4 Months ago
It has Rained 26 of the last 29 days in this area. 29 days in a row below average high temps. (temps mid 70 to 80) usual temps here are regularly over 100!

Now I get an idea how it feels to live in the tropics. There is not much of a change of any outdoor (climbing )ativites in this type of weather. How is the weather in your part of the world?
29 more days to depart for the Colorado Rendezvous!..... but who is counting!

The more raingear, seam sealer and wellies that people bring the less likely we'll have rain for the Rondy!

Raingear and first aid kit go along all of the time.

I'll have my rain gear and roll up the windows. 1 Year, 4 Months ago
Yeah. Let's spook the rain gods for a few days at the Rondy. It never rains when you roll up the windows and lug rain gear. I'll even bring my rain pants!

There is an anti-rain dance right? Who's gonna teach it? Flapping windshield wipers on dry glass? Terrible sound. Visualization? Hmmmm. Chants y'all? We do before or during the event? I need some coaching here. It's dry as a bone here in Atlanta.

However on the other side of the rain issue- we had a downpour last Sunday at the end of our public TCI climb at the school. All climbers made it up however, but it sure drenched the ropes at the end of the climb. They are all out of the bag now and hung up to dry.

With all the climber from georiga heading out to colorado - MAYBE we will just bring the NO RAIN weather gods with us. OH Wait , we get rain daily here - BUT it is blocks not cities wide.

I say a chat about a dry river bed might do it - My credit to the weather gods is spent on my upcoming florida trip
