Tree Climbing in Nebraska 3 Years, 9 Months ago
Last weekend March 20 to be exact, at last years rendezvous site at the Methodist Church camp, Fontanelle, near Fontanelle, Ne. was an open climbing day and family day for the camp. Families could come and color eggs, play games and join in regular easter egg hunts then come to the mighty burr oak and climb for plastic eggs hung in the trees. during the three hour climbing time we put about 55 climbers from all ages and sizes in the trees to grab an egg. Some went twice or three times when we had the line thinned out. Many smiles and much laughter rattled throughtout the woods. On the super system, one little challenged girl got her egg and I was rewarded with a hug after her return to tera firma. Wow what a feeling to make someones day like that.
Thanks to all that helped that day and all that put up with me in climbing classes.

Will post some pics soon
