Swamp White Oak climb 1 Year, 5 Months ago
Climbed a trio of Quercus bicolor on Saturday with my friend Paul. Had to take a break from discussing mechanical advantage systems

Very good pictures! That cart sure looks nice.

I got side tracked and saw some of your pictures from a white pine climb. That one had me reminiscing. There are no white pines Pinus strobus around LA. I was forgetting what they look like!

I'm happy with the cart, still needs some tweaks but is 95% where I want it

It's difficult for me to imagine landscape without strobus. Then again you have plenty of other conifer species out your way to make up for it. Is Sugar Pine anything like White Pine? There is something called Western White Pine isn't there?

Then here's to the oak, the brave old oak,
Who stands in his pride alone!
And still flourish he, a hale green tree,
When a hundred years are gone!
