City teens climb 4 Months ago
I had the opportunity to introduce 10 city teens to tree climbing on 7/18. They're working for the summer in a Boston city park removing invasive plants and generally sprucing up the place. To reward them for their efforts I'm taking up groups of 5 on half day climbs over the next few weeks until all 30 have had a chance on the rope. For the first two sessions we climbed in a wooded area of the park on a good-sized wild white oak. When they saw the tree most of them remarked "I'm not climbing that!" As it turned out all but one climbed. Even though it was 90+ degrees f. and humid they stayed with it. Best comment on rope was "My mother won't believe what I did today!".

Very Neat Moss! I know my life would not be the same if my mom didn't get us some lessons from Treeman!
