It's quite nice. I am a member of an outdoors club in New York, and we had Morgan up one Saturday in the fall for a demo and a little climbing. As I understand it he's constantly refining the design (the new one uses replaceable Aluminum plates that take the most wear). I found it nice to control DRT or SRT, with the DRT system it's self advancing, which is nice -- but unlike and ascender it can decent while in the auto-advance setup. All in all, it's a nice tool, and made by a local guy not a warehouse.
One SRT it works well, you just push it up the rope (and unlike some handled ascenders you don't have to get it at an exact angle to go up the rope) and it advances. I was using it with a Pantin and it was gravy
