hey NICK! i took the outer sheath of an old bull rope i had kicking around, sliced off about 2' worth. sealed the ends so they wouldntn fray, dripped the ends in liquid electrcical tape and then slid it (took a while) ove the tail of my climbing line. Tied a 4/2 blakes and good to go. the climbing rope is protected from wear and the price is right...freeeeeee

knots pretty nicely too, does'nt affect the action of the Blakes.
