Boy, 14, dies from free climbing in NY 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Dear Readers,

I am sorry to write that we have a tree climbing fatality in New York. The saddest news is that with gear and safety harness this may not have happened. Shalom to his family.

I am sorry to hear news of such a terrible event. I wish the best to his family.

I hope this does not impact negatibly the public's view of our pastime and favorite sport.

It is sad to loose a child to an accident as this was.

"I hope this does not impact negatibly the public's view of our pastime and favorite sport."

He was free climbing, how does that Impact the Public's view. The child was HAVING fun. How many of those persons with "The Public View" know that there are persons out there that Climb trees for FUN (on rope and harness) as we do?

You have to think - most of us free climbed as children. if we keep kids on the ground or off the bikes or out of shoe skate. what are we telling them.

LIVE LIFE to the fullest and ENJOY
