dental floss or heavy stuff? 3 Years, 8 Months ago

Ok, what I'm talking about is super thin throwline like Zing-It vs. the heavier stuff like blackline.
Blackline sure is nice to handle, just grab it and throw. Also very easy on the hands when pulling rope.
Zing-It requires a slip knot to grab it but it slithers pretty nicely through the branches. It can get a little out of control with tangles etc.
Which do you prefer or do you chose thin for one situation and heavy for another? -moss

I've been using the 1.75 mm Zing It for quite a while and I wouldn't use anything but ZI or one of it's cousins. Once you understand it's personality quirks it is the BEST! Throws further with less energy and takes a smaller bag to pull down. That translates into higher sets.
My main bag is an 8 oz. Harrison Rocket on one end and a pointy 12 ox on the other. Harrison is used to set, 12 is used to manipulate if needed.
