The Triad Hand Throw System. 3 Years, 2 Months ago
The Triad hand throw system was designed for climbing trees in a thicket. The attached Cottonwood photo shows a ~45 foot entry

Sounds almost to good to be true!
But I know I can't wait to get mine.
For now we'll take your word on it Jim.
Sounds like you have a real winner in your system which could revolutionize this industry.
No more stuck throw weights?!--Gotta experience this!
Thanks for your ingenuity.

Triad was Originally Designed as a No Line Flake Tree Entry 3 Years, 2 Months ago
This pic illustrates the orginal design on the Triad HTS. It was later discovered that throw sock #3 could be dropped via a slip knot for limb isolation, which is now included in the triad concept. Though this system works well where flaking line on the ground isn't an option, I personally avoid it, because it's intensive on line management. In the aftermath of a throw all throw socks are repacked with line directly from the canopy. Then they're put back in place for the next throw.

Anyone confused yet?

JimK

Looking forward to seeing you demo this sometime. I have pretty good luck flaking on to the ground over a small piece of tarp when I'm in the woods. The last photo clearly illustrates how to deal with extreme undergrowth.
