I like to do the tarzan slide... you know, like from the disney animated tarzan movie. now I don't know if anyone could actually slide on trees that way, but I have been able to make a few long slides down really slanted trunks and branches. it's really quite fun.

Can you get an image of you in action? This sounds like a technique more of us would like to try. A little bit of flash is always fun while climbing with others, as long as it is safe. I have seen the slide once, by a kid in sock feet.
How about other "flash" techniques? Anyone have one to share? I have found that the "self releasing monkey fist" quite a flast technique for those that have never seen it done.
