I continue to be amazed by the pursuit of tree climbing. The people, trees, and related reality are just wonderful.

Here's a nice picture of Nick, that gives a feel for how the tree was and the climbing. The limbs weren't crowded. But, it was cozy.

those are awsome pictures guys! there are some pondies that size close to my house and i have considered climbing them, but those downward sloping branches and the giant pitch globs make me think twice. i know you said that it smelled good, but was all that pitch an issue for your gear? again, great pictures. i love how thick ponderosas can have that slow taper.
