I got side tracked and saw some of your pictures from a white pine climb. That one had me reminiscing. There are no white pines Pinus strobus around LA. I was forgetting what they look like!

I was forgetting what they look like! It's difficult for me to imagine landscape without strobus. Then again you have plenty of other conifer species out your way to make up for it. Is Sugar Pine anything like White Pine? There is something called Western White Pine isn't there? -moss
