I'm trying to see if anyone out there has any length of unused Sportline they might wish to sell me. If so, please let me know. Thanks.

Hello Harv, How long of a piece of Sportline do you need. I think I have about 12ft enough for a short lanyard I have used the Blaze split tail that we made at the Rendezvous in MS and it works great on the Sportline. It is a little bit "fat" compared with some of my other split tails but itworks well and it does not "bite" on the down rope too hard. So give it a try if Nick gets you a tail with a small captive eye on one end. It is nice!

Oldtimer, I may take you up on that short piece - good enough for two split tails.
Nick, I appreciate the offer. Blaze is a little fat and heavy for what I need though.
Thanks to you both.

I would describe Blaze as neither fat nor heavy. I've never handled Sportline so I don't know compared to what. The only arborist rope that I've seen thinner than Blaze is Velocity. Fly, Blaze and Velocity all are described as 11mm but Fly is the thickest, then Blaze, then Velocity thinnest. At least that's my impression from handling them. -moss
