Moss, I didn't mean to diss Blaze in any way - fine rope. I believe that Sportline is 10mm and about 5lbs per 100', with Blaze at 11mm and about 6lbs.

Didn't take it that way If my reply seemed abrupt it's because I'm working. Didn't realize Sportlline was so thin. Makes Blaze fat. Thanks, -moss

Moss, no prob. Work will do that to you - it should be avoided whenever possible. Blaze would certainly be better for a main rope. Sportline is very light-duty, but I like it for split tails and daisies.

Hollow braid feature in Sportline. 1 Year, 6 Months ago

Sportline is also a hollow braid construction. I do not think there are any hollow briad lines on the market now. I understand Sport line has been discontinued.

Peter, you are correct - it has been discontinued. I was able to pick up two hanks of Maverick, which was the beefed-up successor to Sportline, but didn't want to cut them up for these purposes.

Harv, what are you using them for? I might be able to recommend something else that would be comprable...
I just looked on Yale's site, and they have it listed as 7/16 (which is normally considered 11mm) but then they converted it as 10mm....
Was new tribe the last place to get that stuff?
