Tour des Trees 2007 1 Year, 5 Months ago
Hey all you Tree climbers!

The TREE Fund signature event is only a few weeks away. This is the 16th year that Tour des Trees has rolled out into the countryside!

On July 20th 85 riders will set out on a 550+ mile ride through California. This event is no vacation. Each rider makes a significant effort to train and raise the money (minimum $3500!),pays their way to and from the event, and participates in outreach events along the route.

With our industry sponsors covering the cost of the ride we can say that funds raised by riders actually go to the Research Fund. That's research that arborists use in our daily work!

Have you donated to a Tour rider from your area or your arborist network?

Its easy to donate from your computer just follow the _link_s for the tour website www.tourdestrees.org to the Active.com page for the rider or team you want to support.

Lets all join in and help this years ride raise some of the money that is helping back us up in the field with solid science.

Thanks for reading this and don't delay! July 1 is the deadline for the riders to have raised the dough!

Thaks for reading this...Scott D. Baker, RCA, Seattle WA.
