Dear Inquiring minds,
What makes you think that only an arborist can be on the TB site and that Rec climbers might be the only ones that post here? And where did you ever read that she, JerseyGirl said she was an Arborist. AS we, her and I are one in the same. no clones here. (TG - the world can not handle two of me)
I am learning that several of these sites, both those being setup for Professional Tree Care climber and those set up for Rec Climbers are well worth my time to be on them and to post and read the information that is out there. I have been made quite welcome everywhere (well almost) and have even climbed and eatten SUSHI with the best of them. And I even volunteer to help at the Pro comp climbs.
All information that is provided is useful, you take out of it what you want and put the rest on the shelf for later use or consideration.
As for posting here that the person might want to use a professional for the trimming work, I just feel it was the safest thing to say and I don't even take a knife, let alone a saw or a power tool into a tree with me. I have heard stories of people cutting themselfs out of trees to often. SO all tools stay on the ground and I leave that work for the more experienced climbers and treedudes.
I do hope that you are not disapointted.
get out on a limb sometime, climb a tree
