OK me again
So - go to a dance from 8 pm to 12 - drive one hour home and sleep for 5 hours - get up, pack your gear and lunch and drive 80 miles just to climb a tree.
SURE - WHY NOT.
So I did - Frazer woods has some tall beauties.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x58/skheinz57/frazerwoods9-8-07044.jpgTreeman, Towhee, Hawkeyefd, John, G (i can not say his name yet spell his name) and I hiked into the woods. Two climbers were in a black oak, two in another tall oak, with John on "Some Beech" and me in "Another Beech" right next tree.
The bugs could carry us away if we did not harness and hardware on. The weather was nice that time of the morning (9am climb time) and the day went fast. Setting lines was not easy on a tree where the first pitch is about 50 or so up, with little horizaltial branching, 'V' were hard to see.
Still we had a great time.
here are the shots to prove it
The climb was about 4 hours - Enjoy . . . . .
thanks for climbing with me
