photo is me on my first morning at Cal-Wood. I'm returning to the lodge to get a vehicle to pick up an injured Genevieve who took a cut to the shin after getting tripped up in some loose rocks during early morning tree recon. She made it back in time for breakfast, then to town for a few stitches and climbing trees by the afternoon. A painful but successful demonstration of why it's good to have backup in the woods. That night Nick and I were in Mr. Tubs enjoying the moonrise. What a day!
