new safety blue 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
I noticed some slipping while climbing last week a little for me but mostly for my kids I've been using tauntline hitch only because that is what I learned to climb with.
The rope I have is the new england safety blue, I think this slipping is due to my kids lightweight and the rope is brand new and feels really stiff as opposed to what I remember.
Is it normal for hitches to slip on new rope?
