MTV Makes a big Mess in Panama 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
If you have not seen it yet, please take a few minutes to read a short article and photos in the "Articles" section of Tree Climbers Coalition site. Apparently the MTV crew does not have too much respect for the environment and makes a great mess while filming one of their survival "reality shows". They left behind a large mess of cut down trees, trash and a big mess in general and they were rude to the local people. The show will air on the 10th of October according to the mtv web site.

You can also Google the article: "Reality" TV Gets Real Trashy.

Pretty sad but we need to call these people attention and make them aware that when they visit natural wild places they must take care of them and "leave not trace "

Thanks for bringing this to light, OldTimer. I reported it on 3 other outdoor forums. I hope everyone writes unhappy letters to MTV and their show sponsors - like I did.

Unfortunately, "Reality" TV reflected the reality of how people treat our fragile planet.

Then here's to the oak, the brave old oak,
Who stands in his pride alone!
And still flourish he, a hale green tree,
When a hundred years are gone!
