The day that I lost my original Harrison Rocket was sad :( From the very first toss I knew that there would be no going back to using any other throwbag.

Quantifying why the Harrison Rocket throws better is a bit of a mystery. The smaller ring on top seems to keep the bag balanced just a bit better. The tight pouch and stitching at the top make the bag just a bit more firm than any other bag.

The durability of the Harrison Rocket is second to none. None of the stitching or material has ever been defective. The only damage that I've see is from the bag hitting the street or a sharp object. If that happens I dab on a bit of thick adhesive called The Welder.

The cost of the Harrison Rocket may be higher than other bags but the performance is much higher than any other bag making it a great value.

This carabiner is the middle size in a set of three from ISC. The largest is the Mongoose, the smallest is the Gator. They all share the same shape and proportions.

ISC is known for having very strong return springs on their sleeves. This is a great feature that is more likely to overcome any debris that might be in the sleeve. The knurling on the sleeve is just coarse enough to allow the climber to grip but not so coarse that the sleeve is likely to open from touching a rope or other moving piece.

Like all double acting gates these carabiners take a bit of trial and error to find the best way to handle the gate.

The unique shape of the carabiner forces the connection point on the small end and the attachments at the large end to slide back towards the spine. Keeping the load away from the gate side of the carabiner makes for a safer carabiner.
