Super grip gloves,  Saturday, 03 November 2007 I purchased a set of these gloves when I saw how low cost they were. I had never seen anyone use them, but thought I could use the help holding on to the rope during ascent. They work just like you would imagine, they greatly increase my grip and help prevent my hands from getting tired.

I have noticed that sometimes they get in the way, because they tend to stick where ever you put them. I have tried using one Atlas glove and another leather glove to push my blakes hitch up. This combination works well, since I can still get the benefit from the Atlas grip. I do not use the Atlas gloves during decent, since they constantly bind up.

 Sturdy and comfortable saddle,  Friday, 02 November 2007 I really like my New Tribe work saddle. I am a new climber and have lots of trees in my yard. The saddle has plenty of places for me to connect extra caribiners, accessory bags and pruning saw. I purchased the saddle from New Tribe as part of a tree gear kit.

I have been using my saddle for over a year now and have not had any problems. The saddle is very comfortable and secure. The fit and finish of the saddle is also very nice. I have not used other types of saddles, so I cannot compare against them. I rated portability a 3, since the saddle is pretty heavy (heavier than you would think by looking at it). I would certainly buy this New Tribe saddle again.
