Big trees often have big problems. Sometimes TCI will sponsor a tree restoration project, where under an arborist's guidance, a large tree is brought back to health.Champion trees are the largest trees of their kind on both the state and national levels. They are magnificent specimens, deserving our admiration and respect. But TCI has found that many of these unusual trees suffer from neglect. Some have not been visited for years, and need loving care to prolong their life. It is vital that wherever possible we keep tabs on these wonderful old trees, and do whatever we can to help preserve them.
