What if I'm afraid of heights? |
This common concern is easily remedied at tree climbing school. Simply
stated, there is no pressure to climb any higher than a person is ready
to go. However, climbers often find that, once having attained a certain
height, they become acclimated to it, and their fears dissipate. Feeling
comfortable and secure on a rope, as well as receiving encouragement from
other climbers, often helps people move beyond their fear to surprise
even themselves with the heights they achieve!

There is, nevertheless, a certain respect and a general duty of humanity that ties us, not only to beasts that have life and sense, but even to trees and plants. --Michael Eyquem, seigneur de Montaigne
