Be careful when trimming dead branches |

Trimming dangerous dead branches is acceptable if you can distinguish
which branches are really dead! Make sure other climbers and people on the ground
are out of the way as dead branches are thrown from the
tree. Don't let large cut pieces bounce against green branches,
because the impact can break or damage them. Trimming green branches
should be kept to a minimum. Make proper cuts on all pruning and be
careful with sharp hand saws, which are always dangerous.
