Anchoring the baseline by itself

This is the method i used when anchoring my baseline. It takes the shape of lacing a shoe.
It's convenient when untying for you don't need to turn yourself round the trunk.

Completely agree with you Moss, doesn't need to be complicated, better if it isn't

On a big tree you'll have nothing left to climb with.
